<br />Dear Mr. Ta,
<br />This letter concludes and represents the results of the evaluation and tests of the above referenced
<br />equipment to the requirements contained in the following standards:
<br />UL 710, Standard for Safety for Exhaust Hoods for Commercial Cooking Equipment, Fifth
<br />Edition, Dated December 28, 1995 with revisions through and including February 2, 2007.
<br />This investigation was conducted on the Model GSH-4-10 exhaust hood we received on September
<br />22, 2009 and evaluated on September 28, 2009 at the Intertek Testing Laboratory in Elmendorf,
<br />Texas. The exhaust hood with integral air supply plenum tested in accordance with UL710 was
<br />constructed of and supported by stainless steel not less than Type 304 0.043-in (No. 18 MSG) in
<br />thickness and stainless steel not less than 0.037-in (20 MSG) in thickness. All seams and joints of the
<br />hood enclosure that directed and captured grease -laden vapors and exhaust gases were liquid -tight,
<br />and continuously welded. Internal hood joints, seams, filter support frames and appurtenances
<br />attached inside the hood are to be sealed or otherwise made grease tight. The hood was provided
<br />with grease baffle filters that were tested and approved UL1046 Listed grease filters. The lighting��
<br />fixtures incorporated in hood were UL 1571 Listed Incandescent Light Fixtures.

<br />We are happy to inform you that your exhaust hood is compliant to the standard listed above. The test

<br />methods used to establish conformance were taken directly from the UL 710 standard and are listed

<br />The results of the Temperature Test indicated that maximum temperature rise attained by an exhaust
<br />hood part during the test was well below the applicable values indicated in Column 1 of Table 30.1 of
<br />the standard. To this effect, the exhaust hood met the conditions of acceptance for the temperature
<br />test. The results of the Cooking Smoke and Flare -Up test were instrumental in establishing the hood
<br />ratings listed below in Tables 1 and 2 below, for total capture and containment for the exhaust hood:

<br />include hood ratings, and recognition for similarly constructed hood models between 48-in to 216-in
<br />long, 48-in wide, 20-in high. The Certification Listing Report No. 3189370SAT-001 will be finalized as
<br />soon as we receive the pending information that is required for the report.
