The adjustment of the 20 <br />valve box to grade by the use of riser rings is not allowed. 21 <br /> 22 <br />Removal operations shall be conducted to prevent damage to the valve boxes. Any 23 <br />parts or materials damaged due to the Contractor's operations shall be replaced at 24 <br />the Contractor’s expense. 25 <br /> 26 <br />The Contractor shall conduct the valve box adjustments so that the fully-adjusted box 27 <br />allows the respective valve to be fully operational.
