_ SNO-ISLE TECH 2023 SMALL WORKS <br />McGRANAHAN ARCHITECTS <br />Section 00 70 00, Page 9 <br />GENERAL CONDITIONS <br />2.5 SUSPENSION OF WORK <br />2.5.1 Owner may, at any time and without cause, and without liability suspend the Work or any portion <br />v thereof for a period of not more than ninety (90) days by notice in writing to Contractor and Architect, <br />which will fix the date on which Work will be resumed. Contractor shall resume the Work on the date <br />so fixed. <br />ARTICLE 3 <br />CONTRACTOR <br />!� 3.1 DEFINITION <br />I <br />3.1.1 The Contractor is the person or entity identified as such in the Agreement and is referred to <br />throughout the Contract Documents as if singular in number. The term "Contractor" means the <br />Contractor or the Contractor's authorized representative. <br />3.2 REVIEW OF CONTRACT DOCUMENTS AND FIELD CONDITIONS BY <br />CONTRACTOR <br />3.2.1 The Contractor shall promptly and carefully study and compare the Contract Documents with <br />each other and with information furnished by the Owner pursuant to Subparagraph 2.2.2 and shall at <br />once report to the Architect and to the Owner any errors, inconsistencies or omissions discovered. Prior <br />to and during the execution of the Work, the Contractor shall check all Drawings, Specifications, and <br />w job conditions and shall immediately notify the Architect and the Owner in writing of any errors, <br />T discrepancies, conflicts or omissions found therein and have the same explained or corrected by the <br />Architect before proceeding with the Work. Work wrongly ordered, fabricated or constructed by the <br />Contractor without such notification shall be corrected by the Contractor at its own expense. The <br />Contractor shall perform no portion of the Work at any time without appropriate Contract Documents <br />or, where required, approved Shop Drawings, Product Data or Samples for such portion of the Work. <br />3.2.2 The Contractor shall take field measurements and verify field conditions and shall carefully <br />compare such field measurements and conditions and other information known to the Contractor with <br />the Contract Documents before commencing activities. Errors, inconsistencies or omissions discovered <br />shall be reported to the Architect and to the Owner at once. <br />3.2.3 The Contractor shall notify the Architect and the Owner in writing of materials, systems, <br />procedures or methods of construction, either shown on the Drawings or specified, of which it has <br />knowledge, experience or other information which supports the conclusion that they are incorrect, <br />inadequate, obsolete or unsuitable for the purpose intended and the basis therefor. The Architect will <br />make a determination of these matters in writing. <br />3.2.4 The Contractor shall perform the Work in accordance with the Contract Documents and <br />- submittals approved pursuant to Paragraph 3.13. <br />-" mcg-ARC 2120.000 February 28, 2023 <br />
