Page 9 of 23 <br /> <br />B. Deliveries <br />1. The supplier assumes responsibility for the delivery of chemicals quoted <br />2. Deliveries shall be F.O.B Destination: <br />3. Deliveries will be made to <br />City of Everett Water Filtration Plant <br />6133 Lake Chaplain Road <br />Monroe, WA, 98272 <br />The storage tank sizes located at the WFP Hypochlorite Building: <br />• Four (4) storage tanks with a capacity of 12,000 gallons each. <br />• One (1) overflow tank with a capacity of 4,100 gallons each. <br />4. Deliveries must be made between 7:00 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. Monday through Friday, <br />• Delivery of Sodium Hypochlorite will ideally be made in trucks or trailers dedicated <br />solely to hauling sodium hypochlorite. <br />• Deliveries will not be accepted on weekends, city-recognized holidays, or outside the <br />stated hours listed above. <br />• Due to the varying usage of Sodium Hypochlorite, an ideal supplier can deliver bulk <br />shipments of sodium hypochlorite in quantities of 1,500 to 5,000 gallons. <br />• Delivery frequency could range from a truckload every other day during the summer <br />to less than once a week during the winter. <br />• The truck or trailer must be equipped for pneumatically unloading chemicals into <br />storage tanks. All trucks or trailers must have their own compressor for unloading. <br />They must also be equipped with at least thirty (30) feet of hose for connection to a <br />male camlock quick connect. The supplier should check with the City to ensure the <br />delivery hose has the correct fitting and is long enough. <br />2.7 CHEMICAL SUPPLY <br />D. The supplier understands and acknowledges that the City provides services essential to the health <br />and welfare of the public. Failure of a Supplier to provide contracted chemicals may jeopardize <br />the City’s ability to provide timely services, which may affect the health and welfare of the public <br />served. <br />An ideal supplier, <br />1. We will give the city the earliest possible notice and the highest priority for the allocation of <br />Sodium Hypochlorite. <br />2. To the maximum extent possible, prioritize or allocate delivery among its contracted <br />customers and the city's requirements before providing it to a customer without such <br />obligations. <br />2.8 SUPPLIER RESPONSIBILITIES <br />A. Ideally, the supplier will provide order confirmation to city staff within 24 hours of notification. <br />B. Coordinate the delivery of Sodium Hypochlorite with the Everett Staff.
