2025 FEDERAL OVERLAY, W MUKILTEO BLVD – GLENWOOD AVE TO DOGWOOD DR <br /> PAGE SP117 OF SP123 SPECIAL PROVISIONS <br />WORK ORDER #3842 April 15, 2025 FEDERAL AID# NHPP-2776(011) <br />GLF 8-20.5.DOCX 1 <br />8-20.5 Payment 2 <br /> 3 <br />Section 8-20.5 is supplemented with the following: 4 <br /> 5 <br />(******) 6 <br />"Vehicle Loop Detectors," per linear foot. 7 <br /> 8 <br />The unit contract price shall include saw cutting, cleaning and drying of pavement, 9 <br />installing loops and home runs, loop lead-in conduits, loop wire, sealant, splice kit and 10 <br />splicing between loop wire and lead-on cable, any work necessary to access a junction 11 <br />box and testing of the vehicle detectors as defined in Section 8-20.3(14)D. 12 <br /> 13 <br />No payment shall be made for any loops that are not spliced and fully operational, 14 <br />including any loop detector lead in cable required to make the loop operational. 15 <br /> 16 <br />“Loop Detector Lead-In Cable”, per linear foot. 17 <br /> 18 <br />The unit contract price shall be full pay for furnishing and installing each loop detector 19 <br />lead-In cable in existing conduits between the traffic signal control cabinet and loop splice 20 <br />point, including all and all other Work necessary terminate loop lead in cable at either end. 21 <br /> 22 <br />No payment shall be made for any detector lead-in cable that is not spliced and fully 23 <br />operational, including any testing required to make the loop operational. 24 <br /> 25 <br />“Conduit Pipe 2 In. Diam.”, per linear foot. 26 <br />The unit contract price shall be full pay as described in this Section for furnishing and 27 <br />installing each conduit stub-out where shown in the Plans, including furnishing all conduit, 28 <br />elbows, bends, and fittings for placing the pipe in accordance with the above provisions, 29 <br />including all excavation or jacking required, backfilling of any voids around stub out, pits, 30 <br />or trenches; bedding of the pipe, chipping of pavement, and all other Work necessary for 31 <br />the construction of the conduit stub-out. 32 <br /> 33 <br />“Video Detection System ____”, lump sum. 34 <br /> 35 <br />The lump sum Contract price for “Video Detection System ____”, shall be full pay for the 36 <br />construction of the complete video detection system as described above and as shown 37 <br />in the Plans, and herein specified, including complete installation of owner furnished 38 <br />materials to provide a fully functioning video detection system at the location described. 39 <br />The Contract price shall include restoring facilities destroyed or damaged during 40 <br />construction, salvaging existing materials, and for making all required tests. All additional 41 <br />materials and labor, not shown in the Plans or called for herein and which are required to 42 <br />complete the video detection system, shall be included in the lump sum Contract price. 43 <br />Removal and salvage of existing materials associated with the construction not shown in 44 <br />the Plans or called for herein and which are required to complete the video detection 45 <br />system, shall be included in the lump sum Contract price. 46 <br /> 47 <br /> 48
