2025 FEDERAL OVERLAY, W MUKILTEO BLVD – GLENWOOD AVE TO DOGWOOD DR <br /> PAGE SP19 OF SP123 SPECIAL PROVISIONS <br />WORK ORDER #3842 April 15, 2025 FEDERAL AID# NHPP-2776(011) <br /> 1 <br />All correspondence from the Contractor shall be served and directed to the Engineer. 2 <br />All correspondence from the Contractor constituting any notification, notice of protest, 3 <br />notice of dispute, or other correspondence constituting notification required to be 4 <br />furnished under the Contract, must be written in paper format, hand delivered or sent 5 <br />via certified mail delivery service with return receipt requested to the Engineer's 6 <br />office. All Iron or Steel Products used in the project. This means all manufacturing 36 <br />processes, from the initial melting stage through the application of coatings, 37 <br />occurred in the United States. 38 <br /> 39 <br />2. All Manufactured Products used in the project. This means the manufactured 40 <br />product was manufactured in the United States. 41 <br /> 42 <br />3. All Construction Materials used in the project. This means that all manufacturing 43 <br />processes for the construction material occurred in the United States. 44 <br /> 45 <br />An article, material, or supply will be classified in one of four categories: 1) Iron or Steel 46 <br />Product, 2) Manufactured Product, 3) Construction Material, or 4) Excluded Material. Only 47 <br />a single category will apply to an item except as follows: 48 <br /> 49 <br />1. With respect to precast concrete products that are classified as Manufactured 50 <br />Products, the components of precast concrete products that consist wholly or 51 <br />predominantly of iron, steel, or combination of both shall meet the requirements 52
