2025 FEDERAL OVERLAY, W MUKILTEO BLVD – GLENWOOD AVE TO DOGWOOD DR <br /> PAGE SP54 OF SP123 SPECIAL PROVISIONS <br />WORK ORDER #3842 April 15, 2025 FEDERAL AID# NHPP-2776(011) <br />· Trucks performing export haul shall have well maintained bed liners. 1 <br />· Tailgate slamming will be prohibited. 2 <br />· No construction work shall be allowed between 6 pm and 8 am on Saturdays, 3 <br />Sundays, or federally recognized holidays unless otherwise stated in the 4 <br />Noise Variance Permit.]*** 5 <br />prior to the day(s) the Contractor is requesting to change the hours. 6 <br /> 7 <br />If the Contracting Agency approves such a deviation, such approval may be subject to 8 <br />certain other conditions, which will be detailed in writing. For example: 9 <br /> 10 <br /> 11 <br /> 12 <br /> 13 <br /> 14 <br /> 15 <br /> 16 <br /> 17 <br />1. Considering the work performed on Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays as working 18 <br />days with regard to the contract time. 19 <br />2. Considering multiple work shifts as multiple working days with respect to contract 20 <br />time even though the multiple shifts occur in a single 24-hour period. 21 <br />3. If a 4-10 work schedule is requested and approved the non working day for the 22 <br />week will be charged as a working day. 23 <br />4. If Davis Bacon wage rates apply to this Contract, all requirements must be met and 24 <br />recorded properly on certified payroll 25 <br /> 26 <br />1-08.1.OptionA.RTF 27 <br /> 1-08.1 Subcontracting 28 <br />(December 30, 2022 APWA GSP, Option A) 29 <br /> 30 <br />Section 1-08.1 is supplemented with the following: 31 <br /> 32 <br />Prior to any subcontractor or lower tier subcontractor beginning work, the Contractor 33 <br />shall submit to the Engineer a certification (WSDOT Form 420-004) that a written 34 <br />agreement between the Contractor and the subcontractor or between the subcontractor 35 <br />and any lower tier subcontractor has been executed. This certification shall also 36 <br />guarantee that these subcontract agreements include all the documents required by the 37 <br />Special Provision Federal Agency Inspection. 38 <br /> 39 <br />A subcontractor or lower tier subcontractor will not be permitted to perform any work 40 <br />under the contract until the following documents have been completed and submitted to 41 <br />the Engineer: 42 <br /> 43 <br />1. Request to Sublet Work (WSDOT Form 421-012), and 44 <br /> 45 <br />2. Contractor and Subcontractor or Lower Tier Subcontractor Certification for Federal-46 <br />aid Projects (WSDOT Form 420-004). 47 <br /> 48
