The off-duty Uniformed Police Officer shall be in addition to all other 14 <br />personnel required for flagging according to the approved traffic control plan. 15 <br /> 16 <br />A Uniformed Police Officer shall be provided in the event of accidental power outages or 17 <br />disruption of a signalized intersection as a result of Contractor’s Work and remain in place 18 <br />until the intersection becomes satisfactorily operational as determined by Agency Engineer 19 <br />or his/her representative. 20 <br /> 21 <br />The UPO shall be capable of issuing legal tickets for offenders and providing their Agency 22 <br />Police Vehicle with active light bars for night visibility. 23 <br /> 24 <br />1-10.4.GR1 25 <br />Measurement 26 <br /> 27 <br />1-10.4(2).RTF 28 <br />1-10.4(2) Item Bids With Lump Sum for Incidentals 29 <br />(November 25, 2024, APWA GSP) 30 <br /> 31 <br />Section 1-10.4(2) is supplemented with the following: 32 <br /> 33 <br />“Uniformed Police Officer” will be measured by the hour.
