AUTHORITY <br />2 RCW 70.105D.030 authorizes Ecology to issue such orders as may be necessary to <br />3 effectuate the purposes of the Model Toxics Control Act, chapter 70.105D RCW, and to enter <br />4 into consent decrees through judicial proceedings. In addition, RCW 70.105D.040(4) <br />5 authorizes the Attorney General to agree to a settlement with a potentially liable person and to <br />6 request that the settlement be entered as a consent decree in the superior court of the county <br />7 where a violation is alleged to have occurred. <br />8 IN'.
