Airport Compatfbility. The following development actfvitfes and uses are exempt from the airport 18 <br />compatfbility requirements of this chapter, provided the development actfvity or use will not interfere 19 <br />with airport operatfons: 20 <br />1. Any air navigatfon use or facility, airport visual approach or airport arrestfng device, 21 <br />meteorological device, or a type of approach device approved by the Federal Aviatfon 22 <br />Administratfon, the locatfon and height of which is fixed by its functfonal purpose. 23 <br />2. Aeronautfcal actfvity, including but not limited to: 24 <br />a. Aerospace industry and aerospace manufacturing; 25 <br />b. Fixed base operatfons, and other necessary airport support facilitfes, as approved by 26 <br />the airport, if located outside of airport property; 27 <br />c. Aerospace and aviatfon educatfonal facilitfes, including technical schools and flight 28 <br />training schools. 29
