Applicability. This sectfon applies to development actfvitfes and uses within the Navy compatfbility 4 <br />area (“NCA”), as set forth in Map 17-2. 5 <br />Map 17-2: Naval Compatibility Area Map 6 <br /> 7 <br />B. Uses and Development Approvals Within the Navy Compatfbility Area (NCA). 8 <br />1. All propertfes located within the NCA shall be permitted to have the same uses as permitted 9 <br />in the underlying zoning district subject to the requirements of the underlying use zone and the 10 <br />requirements of this sectfon. 11 <br />2. The city shall provide notfce of permit applicatfons to Naval Statfon Everett for new 12 <br />development actfvitfes within the NCA, and shall allow Naval Statfon Everett to submit 13 <br />comments to the department regarding the proposal, including those related to potentfal 14 <br />adverse impacts on Navy operatfons, 15 <br />3. The city shall consider comments provided by Naval Statfon Everett, and where necessary, 16 <br />apply such conditfons of approval to mitfgate potentfal impacts to Navy operatfons or to provide 17 <br />measures to mitfgate impacts created by port operatfons and other actfvitfes within the NCA. 18 <br />4. Applicants for development within the NCA are encouraged to work cooperatfvely with Naval 19 <br />Statfon Everett in the design of proposed buildings or land development proposals in order to 20
