The strategies that will be employed to reduce single-occupancy vehicle trips, reduce 3 <br />vehicle miles traveled by site users, and promote transportatfon alternatfves such as 4 <br />walking, cycling, ridesharing, and transit. 5 <br />d. The modal share objectfves that will be sought from the implementatfon of TDM 6 <br />strategies. 7 <br />4. A Transportatfon Demand Management TDM plan must include ways to ensure ongoing 8 <br />compliance and enforcement of approved TDM strategies. 9 <br />5. Fees as required to review and approve the TDM plan, and annual fees to monitor the 10 <br />implementatfon of the TDM plan, as required by the city. 11 <br />C. Transportatfon Demand Management TDM Strategies. TDM sStrategies may include, but are not 12 <br />limited to, the following: 13 <br />1. Walking, cycling, ridesharing, and transit promotfon and educatfon. 14 <br />2. Parking cash-out programs or unbundled parking/market rate pricing. 15 <br />3. Shared vehicle parking arrangements. 16 <br />4. Enhanced bicycle parking facilitfes and services (above the minimum required). 17 <br />5. Support for car share and, bike share, and/or micromobility services and facilitfes. 18 <br />6. Carpooling or vanpooling programs or benefits. 19 <br />7. Free or subsidized transit passes, transit-to-work shuttles, or enhanced transit facilitfes (such 20 <br />as bus shelters). 21 <br />8. Guaranteed ride home (GRH) programs. 22 <br />9. Provision for alternatfve work schedules (i.e., flextfme, compressed work week, staggered 23 <br />shifts, telecommutfng). 24 <br />10. Promotfon of “live near your work” programs. 25 <br />11. Roadway improvements adjacent to the site that will help encourage transportatfon 26 <br />alternatfves. 27 <br />12. Designatfon of an on-site employee and/or resident transportatfon coordinator. 28 <br />13. Membership in a transportatfon management associatfon (TMA). 29 <br />D. Transportatfon Demand Management TDM Performance Standards. In making its decision, the city 30 <br />engineer must make written findings of fact on the following matters: 31 <br />1. The project includes performance objectfves to minimize single-occupancy vehicle trips and 32 <br />maximize the utflizatfon of transportatfon alternatfves to the extent practfcable, taking into 33 <br />account the opportunitfes and constraints of the site and the nature of the development. 34
