Structured 1 <br />vehicle parking garages accessed from the rear with no internal turnaround shall be set back at least 2 <br />twenty-five feet from the far side of the alley, except as otherwise approved by city engineer. 3 <br />E. Parking between buildings and streets. Surface parking lots shall not be located directly between a 4 <br />public street and a building unless another building is closer to the public street, as illustrated in Figure 5 <br />34-2, except: 6 <br />1. Residentfal zones in driveways meetfng the standards of EMC 19.34.110; or 7 <br />2. The following vehicle types may be stored on a residentfal lot upon which a principal dwelling is 13 <br />located: recreatfonal vehicles, campers, travel trailers, boats, motorcycles, and other types of similar 14 <br />recreatfonal vehicles. If such vehicles are located within the front or street-side setback of the principal 15 <br />building and/or accessory building, they must be stored on an approved driveway (see EMC 16 <br />19.34.110(C)). In additfon, any vehicle stored on a residentfal lot shall be owned by the owner of the 17 <br />property or resident of the dwelling. 18 <br />B. Vehicles over sixteen thousand pounds gross vehicle weight which are not specifically mentfoned in 19 <br />subsectfon A of this sectfon shall not be parked or stored on residentfally zoned lots.
