Please see definitfons of “adult family home” and “day care, family 1 <br />home.” 2 <br />“Group housing, extended care facility” means a state-licensed extended care facility, including an 3 <br />assisted living facility, congregate care facility, nursing or convalescing home, and any other group 4 <br />housing serving more than sixteen individuals. 5 <br />“Group housing, residentfal care facility” means a state-licensed residentfal care facility designed to 6 <br />serve as the primary residence for individuals and two resident staff, which has shared living quarters 7 <br />without separate bathroom and/or kitchen facilitfes for each unit. 8 <br />“Live/work” units mean built spaces that functfon predominantly as both work spaces and secondarily as 9 <br />residences. 10 <br />“Transit Stop, Major” means: 11 <br />(a) A stop on a high capacity transportatfon system funded or expanded under the provisions of 12 <br />chapter 81.104 RCW; 13 <br />(b) Commuter rail stops; 14 <br />(c) Stops on rail or fixed guideway systems; or 15 <br />(d) Stops on bus rapid transit routes, including those stops that are under constructfon. 16 <br />“Transit Stop, Frequent” means stops for a bus or other transit mode providing actual fixed route service 17 <br />at intervals no longer than 15 minutes per hour for at least five full hours during the peak hours of 18 <br />operatfon on weekdays 19 <br />“Managing agency” means an organizatfon that has the capacity to organize and manage a homeless 20 <br />encampment. A “managing agency” may be the same entfty as the sponsor. 21 <br />“Mobile home park,” “manufactured housing community,” or “manufactured/mobile home community” 22 <br />has the same meaning as in RCW 59.20.030: any real property which is rented or held out for rent to 23 <br />others for the placement of two or more mobile homes, manufactured homes, or park models for the 24 <br />primary purpose of productfon of income, except where such real property is rented or held out for rent 25 <br />for seasonal recreatfonal purpose only and is not intended for year-round occupancy. 26 <br />“Nursing or convalescent home” means a facility or instftutfon for the care of the aged or infirm, or a 27 <br />place of rest for those suffering bodily disorders. This term does not include hospitals or facilitfes for the 28 <br />primary treatment of sickness or injuries, or for surgical care, or congregate care facilitfes. 29 <br />“Permanent supportfve housing,” also referred to as supportfve housing, has the same meaning as RCW 30 <br />36.70A.030(16): 31 <br />“Permanent supportfve housing” is subsidized, leased housing with no limit on length of stay that 32 <br />prioritfzes people who need comprehensive support services to retain tenancy and utflizes admissions 33 <br />practfces designed to use lower barriers to entry than would be typical for other subsidized or 34 <br />unsubsidized rental housing, especially related to rental history, criminal history, and personal behaviors. 35 <br />Permanent supportfve housing is paired with on-site or off-site voluntary services designed to support a 36 <br />person living with a complex and disabling behavioral health or physical health conditfon who was 37
