<br />bowling alleys, ice skatfng and roller skatfng; one or more of the following types of recreatfon facilitfes: 1
<br />fitness center, indoor gymnasium, spa or health club, including tennis, handball, golf, squash, volleyball, 2
<br />racquetball, badminton, skate park and swimming. The use does not include adult use business, adult 3
<br />retail or adult entertainment as defined in this tftle. 4
<br />“Entertainment and recreatfon, not enclosed” means an entertainment or recreatfon facility under 5
<br />private ownership and operated by a for-profit or nonprofit organizatfon and providing one or more of 6
<br />the following types of entertainment actfvitfes: ice skatfng; skate park and swimming; or commercial 7
<br />outdoor recreatfon, including golf courses, archery range, or similar use. 8
<br />“Equipment sales and rental” means service industry providing machinery, equipment and tools of all 9
<br />kinds and sizes (from earthmoving to powered access, from power generatfon to hand-held tools, etc.) 10
<br />for a limited period of tfme to final users, mainly to constructfon contractors but also to industry and 11
<br />individual consumers. 12
<br />“Food or beverage establishment” means restaurants, cafes, and similar types of land uses that prepare 13
<br />and serve edible goods for consumptfon by the customer including beverage service. This use includes 14
<br />coffee roastfng and productfon of wine, beer, or other alcoholic or nonalcoholic beverages in conjunctfon 15
<br />with the use of food or beverage establishment. 16
<br />“Heavy truck and equipment sales” means a business where new or used trucks over eighteen thousand 17
<br />pounds are displayed for sale, typically outdoors on a paved parking lot. This use may include a 18
<br />showroom and/or service facility. 19
<br />“Hotel” or “motel” means a transient accommodatfon offering three or more lodging units to guests for 20
<br />periods of less than thirty days, and may also provide incidental services such as restaurants, meetfng 21
<br />rooms or recreatfonal facilitfes. 22
<br />“Impound, storage, tow yard” means a lot used for the temporary storage of vehicles which have been 23
<br />towed by a towing company or for impounded vehicles, but which does not include permanent vehicle 24
<br />storage or dismantling of vehicles. 25
<br />“Kennel, commercial” means an establishment that houses, cares for, breeds, or raises dogs, cats or 26
<br />other small domestfc animals for profit. 27
<br />“Microbrewery, microdistfllery, or microwinery” means a small-scale business located in a building where 28
<br />the primary use is for restaurant, retail, or tastfng room, and which specializes in producing limited 29
<br />quantftfes of wine, beer, or other alcoholic beverage. 30
<br />“Office” means a building or portfon thereof which is used for general business, and nonprofit 31
<br />administratfve purposes not involving manufacturing, sale of inventory or provision of services involving 32
<br />manual skills or mechanical processes. Remote provision of services including healthcare, social services, 33
<br />and counseling are included in the category of office. Not included in the category of office are those 34
<br />businesses and occupatfons defined by this tftle as clinics, government administratfve offices or uses 35
<br />such as private clubs. 36
<br />“Retail sales and service” means a business providing products for retail sale or service to the general 37
<br />public or to group members, excluding marijuana retail. 38
