What are their years of <br />experience, years in the industry, and years with the firm? <br />Provide a list of three major projects that the person has been <br />involved in and their role in those projects. <br /> <br />Darrell Reid will serve as the principal engagement leader. <br />Darrell is the Vice President of Strategy at Darkhorse <br />Emergency, bringing over 35 years of public service <br />experience and 20+ years of senior leadership experience to <br />this role. Darrell's prior leadership experience includes Chief <br />Administrative Officer for Strathcona County, Alberta, Fire <br />Chief of Vancouver Fire & Rescue Services, COVID-19 Task <br />Force leader for the City of Vancouver, Deputy Fire Chief for <br />Toronto Fire Services, and Fire Chief for Strathcona County <br />Emergency Services. <br />Having served as both a Fire Chief in multiple jurisdictions and as a Chief <br />Administrative Officer, Darrell possesses a unique blend of operational fire <br />service expertise and analytical decision-making capabilities. <br />Darrell has been collaborating with Darkhorse Emergency since 2017, and in a <br />full-time capacity as the VP of Strategy since February 2025, where he <br />specializes in connecting emergency services clients with data-driven <br />analytics. His perspective is uniquely valuable as he's worked directly with <br />Darkhorse as a client during his tenure at Vancouver Fire Rescue Services, <br />Toronto Fire and Strathcona County, allowing him to wear the hat of both <br />consultant and fire chief, as well as understanding the council executive <br />perspective. <br />Three major projects Darrell has been involved with include: <br />1. Vancouver Fire Rescue Services Needs Assessment - As Fire Chief, <br />Darrell led the implementation of Darkhorse's comprehensive needs <br />assessment, working as a client with the Darkhorse team. This <br />experience provides him invaluable insight into how to effectively deliver <br />analytics solutions that fire chiefs can successfully implement. The <br />12
