2025 FEDERAL OVERLAY, BROADWAY – CALIFORNIA ST TO 18TH ST SPECIAL PROVISIONS <br />FEDERAL AID# STBGUL-2715(012); COE PW# 3841 SP-49 May 6, 2025 <br /> <br />All entities listed under 1-07.18(2) of these Special Provisions shall be named by 1 <br />endorsement as additional insureds on the Contractors Pollution Liability insurance policy. 2 <br /> 3 <br />Such Pollution Liability policy shall provide the following minimum limits: 4 <br />*** $1,000,000 *** each loss and annual aggregate 5 <br /> 6 <br />1-07.18(5)K.RTF 7 <br />1-07.18(5)K Professional Liability 8 <br />(December 30, 2022 APWA GSP) 9 <br /> 10 <br />The Contractor and/or its subcontractor(s) and/or its design consultant providing construction 11 <br />management, value engineering, or any other design-related non-construction professional 12 <br />services shall provide evidence of Professional Liability insurance covering professional 13 <br />errors and omissions. 14 <br /> 15 <br />Such policy shall provide the following minimum limits: 16 <br />$1,000,000 per claim and annual aggregate 17 <br /> 18 <br />If the scope of such design-related professional services includes work related to pollution 19 <br />conditions, the Professional Liability insurance shall include coverage for Environmental 20 <br />Professional Liability. 21 <br /> 22 <br />If insurance is on a claims-made form, its retroactive date, and that of all subsequent 23 <br />renewals, shall be no later than the effective date of this Contract. 24 <br /> 25 <br />1-07.23.GR1 26 <br />Public Convenience and Safety 27 <br /> 28 <br />1-07.23(1).GR1 29 <br />Construction Under Traffic 30 <br /> 31 <br />1-07.23(1).INST1.GR1 32 <br />Section 1-07.23(1) is supplemented with the following: 33 <br /> 34 <br />f1-07.23(1).OPT5.FR1.docx 35 <br />(November 4, 2024) 36 <br />Lane, ramp, shoulder, and roadway closures are only permitted as follows: 37 <br /> 38 <br />*** $$ 39 <br />Broadway – California St to 18th St 40 <br />A detour shall be in place for all work between 7:00pm and 7:00am. Casting 41 <br />adjustments shall not be permitted between 5:00am to 7:30am and 2:30pm to 42 <br />8:00pm. 43 <br />$$ *** 44 <br /> 45 <br />If the Engineer determines the permitted closure hours adversely affect traffic, the 46 <br />Engineer may adjust the hours accordingly. The Engineer will notify the Contractor 47 <br />in writing of any change in the closure hours. Exceptions to these restrictions are 48 <br />listed below and when applicable take precedence over closures listed above. The 49 <br />Engineer may also consider on a case-by-case basis additional exceptions following 50 <br />a written request by the Contractor. 51 <br /> 52
