Also please <br /> annotate the location and efficiency of the heat pump system in the floor plan so the <br /> inspectors can easily identify and verify the installation in the field. 2018 WSEC Table 406.3. <br /> 10. The application proposes to obtain 0.5 energy credit through 2018 WSEC Table 406.3 <br /> Option 5.1 "drain water heat recovery units."To qualify for this credit, the building permit <br /> drawings need to include a plumbing diagram that specifies the drain water heat recovery <br /> units and the plumbing layout needed to install it. Labels or other documentation shall be <br /> provided to demonstrate that the unit complies with the standard. Please supply this <br /> information. 2018 WSEC Table 406.3. <br /> 11. The application proposes to obtain 2.0 energy credits through 2018 WSEC Table 406.3 <br /> Option 5.5 electric heat pump water heater, meeting the NEEA's Tier III standards. Please <br /> V annotate the location and efficiency of the heat pump water heater in the floor plan so the <br /> inspectors can easily identify and verify the installation in the field. 2018 WSEC Table 406.3. <br /> 12. The whole house ventilation solution is missing from the floor plan. Please annotate its <br /> location and airflow rate in cfm. IRC Section M1505.4. <br /> Structural (Reviewer: Drew Martin, dmartin@everettwa.gov) <br /> 13. The architectural drawings include structural information. The architectural drawings should <br /> include a note stating that the structural drawings control where the drawings overlap or <br /> conflict. See IBC Section 107.2.1. <br /> 14. Structural special inspections are required for this project. A statement on special <br /> inspections has not been provided and should be submitted with the permit documents. <br /> The statement should include a table listing each type of special inspection and shall specify <br /> the extent of each inspection (e.g., continuous, periodic) per IBC Section 1704.3.1. <br /> Inspections should include but are not limited to concrete (e.g., concrete mix, concrete <br /> placement, reinforcement, shoring, embedded items, etc.) and wood (i.e., nailing less than <br /> 6 inches). The table should include special requirements for seismic and wind resisting <br /> systems as required by IBC Sections 1704.3.2 and 1704.3.3, respectively. See IBC Sections <br /> 107.1, 1704.2.3 and 1704.3. <br /> 15. A general fastener schedule should be provided per IRC Table R602.3(1). Providing a <br /> reference to this table in the drawings does not satisfy this requirement. In addition, the <br /> make and model of proprietary hardware should be specified where used for connections. <br /> 16.The project appears intended to include prefabricated roof trusses. See IRC Section <br /> R802.10. The drawings should include a note specifying the following: <br /> a. The trusses should be designed by a professional engineer licensed in the state of <br /> Washington. <br /> b.
