The construction drawings should include all levels of the house. Detailed construction information is not <br /> required for areas that are not included in the proposed scope-of-work. At a minimum, the plans should <br /> show the walls, doors, egress routes, windows including egress windows, smoke and CO alarms, and use of <br /> each room. See IRC Section R106.1.1. <br /> Architectural: <br /> 5. The project must comply with architectural requirements, including but not limited to egress, emergency <br /> egress, smoke and CO alarms, and energy code requirements including but not limited to insulation and <br /> energy credits, and whole house ventilation. Detailed comments may be issued pending a review of <br /> complete construction drawings. See Section R106.1.1. <br /> Structural: <br /> 6. The proposed project includes structural work. Structural drawing should be submitted that include <br /> framing plans, sections, details, construction schedules, fastening schedules, materials requirements, <br /> general notes, special inspection requirements, etc. The drawings should substantiate compliance with <br /> the prescriptive requirements of the IRC. See IRC Sections R106.1.1 and R301.1. <br /> 7. The project may involve structural modifications that do not comply with the prescriptive limitations of the <br /> IRC. Where a structural design is performed per Section R301.1.3, structural drawings and calculations <br /> should be prepared by a professional engineer licensed in the state of Washington; the drawings and <br /> calculations should bear the seal and signature of the engineer. See RCW Sections 18.43.010, 18.43.020, <br /> and 18.43.070. <br /> Review of your project will be performed in the order received once the required documentation has been <br /> submitted.
