Structural drawing should be submitted that include <br /> framing plans, sections, details, construction schedules, fastening schedules, materials requirements, <br /> general notes, special inspection requirements, etc. The drawings should substantiate compliance with <br /> the prescriptive requirements of the IRC. See IRC Sections R106.1.1 and R301.1. <br /> 7. The project may involve structural modifications that do not comply with the prescriptive limitations of the <br /> IRC. Where a structural design is performed per Section R301.1.3, structural drawings and calculations <br /> should be prepared by a professional engineer licensed in the state of Washington; the drawings and <br /> calculations should bear the seal and signature of the engineer.
