September 10, 2025 <br /> <br />2 <br /> <br /> <br />Vice President Zarlingo commented on his attendance at an industrial engineering event hosted <br />by Snohomish County Economic Development and Economic Alliance for Snohomish County. He <br />also commented on his attendance at the Snohomish County Tomorrow meeting. <br /> <br /> <br />ADMINISTRATION UPDATE <br /> <br />Government Affairs Director Jennifer Gregerson had no report. <br /> <br /> <br />CITY ATTORNEY <br /> <br />City Attorney David Hall condemned political violence and commented on the hearings <br />questioning the eligibility of a Council District 4 candidate and stated the outcome was that Niko <br />Battle was found not eligible to appear on the ballot. <br /> <br />Mayor Franklin left at 6:57 p.m. <br /> <br /> <br />CONSENT ITEMS: <br /> <br />Moved by Council Member Tuohy, seconded by Council Member Bader, to approve the <br />following consent items: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION - CLAIMS <br /> <br />To adopt Resolution No. 8209 authorizing claims against the City of Everett in the amount of <br />$11,293,701.77 for the period ending August 23, 2025, through August 29, 2025. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION – PAYROLL CLAIMS <br /> <br />To adopt Resolution No. 8210 authorizing payroll claims against the City of Everett in the <br />amount of $5,676,093.78 for the period ending August 23, 2025. <br /> <br />AGREEMENT - LOCAL SOLID WASTE FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE GRANT <br /> <br />To authorize the Mayor or her designee to sign all necessary documents and agreements for <br />the Local Solid Waste Financial Assistance Grant Agreement in the amount of $84,432.15. <br /> <br /> <br />
