She also reminded the public that Boards & Commissions positions are still open and <br />attended the Vision Zero forum. <br /> <br />President Schwab reminded the public that on September 29, 2025, the city is hosting a Town <br />Hall Forum from 5:30 - 7 p.m. discussing future solutions on the city budget. <br /> <br /> <br />ADMINISTRATION UPDATE <br /> <br />Government Affairs Director Jennifer Gregerson advised the Budget Open House mentioned by <br />President Schwab is at the Everett Station in the Weyerhaeuser Room, Monday, September 29 <br />at 5:30 p.m. She advised that the Park Lighting project is expected to start in the fall with <br />completion in Spring 2026. <br /> <br /> <br />CITY ATTORNEY <br /> <br />City Attorney David Hall did not have any updates. <br /> <br /> <br />CONSENT ITEMS: <br /> <br />Moved by Council Member Tuohy, seconded by Council Member Bader, to approve the <br />following consent items: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION - CLAIMS <br /> <br />To adopt Resolution No. 8211 authorizing claims against the City of Everett in the amount of <br />$5,226,521.40 for the period ending August 30, 2025, through September 5, 2025. <br /> <br />AGREEMENT – MUNICIPAL STORMWATER CAPACITY GRANT <br /> <br />To authorize the Mayor or her designee to apply for, and if awarded, to sign all necessary <br />documents and agreements for the Municipal Stormwater Capacity Grant in the amount of <br />$120,000. <br /> <br />AGREEMENT - COMMUTE TRIP REDUCTION GRANT <br /> <br />To authorize the Mayor to sign the Washington State Department of Transportation 2025-2027 <br />Commute Trip Reduction grant agreement. <br /> <br />AGREEMENT – DEFENSE COMMUNITY INFRASTRUCTURE GRANT
