SNO-ISLE TECH 2O23 SMALL WORKS Section 0130 50, Page 1 <br />MCGRANAHAN ARCHITECTS PROJECT MANAGEMENT <br />PROJECT MANAGEMENT <br />PART 1 GENERAL <br />1.01 RELATED DOCUMENTS <br />A. Drawings and general provisions of the Contract, including General Conditions and other Division 1 <br />T Specification Sections, apply to this .Section. <br />1 1.02 SUMMARY <br />- A. This Section includes administrative provisions for coordinating construction operations on Project including, <br />- but not limited to, the following: <br />1. Measurements, lines, and levels. <br />2. General coordination. <br />3. Administrative and supervisory personnel. <br />B. The General Contractor and each subcontractor shall participate in coordination requirements. Certain areas of <br />responsibility will be assigned to a specific subcontractor. <br />C. Related Sections: The following Sections contain requirements that relate to this Section: <br />1. Division 1 Section "Construction Progress Schedule" for preparing and submitting the General <br />Contractor's and subcontractors Construction Schedule. <br />2. Division 1 Section "Execution Requirements" for procedures for coordinating general installation and field <br />engineering services, including establishment of benchmarks and control points. <br />3. Division 1 Section "Closeout Procedures" for coordinating Contract closeout. <br />1.03 MEASUREMENTS, LINES AND LEVELS <br />A. The General Contractor and subcontractors shall lay out their work as required and shall be responsible for the <br />correctness of all measurements. They shall exercise proper care to verify all figures before layout of their <br />work, and they will be held responsible for any errors, omissions, discrepancies, conflicts, or ambiguities therein <br />N <br />that might otherwise have been avoided. They shall promptly inform the Architect, in writing, of any errors, <br />y " <br />omissions, discrepancies, conflicts or ambiguities in the contract documents in order that corrections or <br />clarifications may be made by the Architect before proceeding with the Work. Failure to do so will be at the risk <br />of the General Contractor and subcontractors in proceeding. The General Contractor and subcontractor shall <br />submit one (1) copy of their survey notes to the Architect for record purposes. Submission of the survey notes <br />does not relieve the General Contractor and subcontractors of their duty to identify discrepancies. <br />i B. Before ordering any material or doing any work, verify all measurements at the site. No extra compensation will <br />be allowed because of differences between actual measurements and dimensions shown. Refer such differences <br />to the Architect for consideration before beginning work. <br />1.04 COORDINATION <br />A. Coordination: Coordinate construction operations included in various Sections of the Specifications to ensure <br />efficient and orderly installation of each part of the Work.
