Observe required testing; maintain a record of tests as required by the Quality Control section of these <br />specifications. <br />8. Verify that subcontractors maintain accurate record documents. <br />9. Substitutions: <br />a. Review proposals and requests: <br />1) Check for compliance with Contract Documents. <br />2) Verify compatibility with work and equipment of other trades. <br />b. Submit to the Architect for approval in accordance with Division 1— Product Requirements. <br />10. Observe the work for compliance with requirements of Contract Documents. <br />11. Assemble documentation for handling of disputes involving mechanical, electrical, or other trades. <br />12. Commissioning: <br />a. Check to ensure that utilities and specified connections are complete, and that equipment is inoperable <br />condition. <br />13. Pre- Final Inspection: <br />a. Prior to inspection, check that equipment is clean, repainted as required, tested and operational andthat <br />the Contractor's Pre -Final punch list is prepared and delivered to the Architect. <br />b. Assist Architect; prepare consolidated list of items to be completed or corrected after inspection. <br />14. Assemble Record Document information from subcontractors, incorporate into Contractor's Record <br />Documents, and ensure that completed record documents are submitted to the Architect in accordancewith <br />Division 1. <br />15. Coordinate operations of existing facility, maintaining exit pathways, corridors, etc. per Phasing Drawings <br />and Summary of Work. <br />16. Perform field engineering as necessary. <br />1.02 COORDINATION OF SPACE <br />A. The Contractor shall be responsible for coordinating the actual layout of plumbing, fire protection, HVAC, <br />electrical, and other similar elements, as necessary to avoid interference, maintain the configurations of ; <br />architectural elements and maintain minimum ceiling and clearance heights as required by code and accommodate <br />existing obstructions which are to remain. <br />B. Layouts shown on the Drawings are diagrammatic. Follow routings shown for pipes, ducts, and conduit as closely <br />as practical. Where routing changes are required in exposed locations within public spaces, or will affect <br />architectural elements, verify modifications with the Architect prior to proceeding. <br />Develop coordination drawings, and other pre -installation coordination methods as necessary to coordinate layouts <br />prior to installation. Coordination drawings shall be based on the approved structural framing shop drawings, and <br />shall consist of overlay drawings, or other similar methods to graphically indicate plumbing, fireprotection, HVAC, <br />electrical, and other similar elements in a single location in order to identify conflicts. If coordination drawings <br />are not on file, or if systems are not installed per coordination drawings, costs and delaysof required reengineering, <br />replacement and other work required to correct conflicts shall be solely the Contractor's. <br />mcg-ARC 2120.000 February 28, 2023 <br />
