WPCF Headworks Replacement Project Scope of Work <br />13 <br /> <br />o Prepare a scoring matrix in accordance with the scoring prescribed in the RFQ, and for <br />use by the City in scoring interviews of shortlist potential GC/CM teams to develop list of <br />finalists for receiving the RFPP. <br /> Support development of GC/CM scope of service exhibits that document the selected <br />GC/CM scope requirements during design, construction, and startup, testing, and <br />commissioning. This work includes the following activities: <br />o Assist the City with negotiating GC/CM Agreement and Design Phase cost with selected <br />GC/CM. It is expected that GC/CM Agreement negotiations will be minimal since the <br />short-listed GC/CM teams will be encouraged to vet any issues with the draft GC/CM <br />Agreement during the RFQ/Proposal process (including discussion at confidential <br />meetings). <br />o Develop a draft design phase scope of services that documents the GC/CM <br />responsibilities during design phase of project. This work will include project <br />management, design and constructability reviews, cost development and submittals, <br />subcontractor procurement, and the guaranteed maximum price (GMP) proposal. <br />o Develop draft construction <br />responsibilities during the construction phase of the Project including project <br />management and coordination, quality control, schedule and cost management and <br />reporting, record keeping, temporary facilities requirements, startup/commissioning <br />responsibilities, etc. <br />o Conduct four 1-hour meetings with the City to discuss development of GC/CM scope of <br />services document. <br /> Identify and manage project risks before the selected CG/CM receives NTP through <br />development and review of a project risk register. <br /> Identify risk mitigation strategies to help recommend contingency for City to allocate for <br />project as well as inform draft GC/CM contract. Conduct one meeting with the City to review <br />risks and mitigation strategies. <br />Task Assumptions <br /> This phase assumes the project will be delivered through the GC/CM alternative delivery <br />method. The use of this delivery method will be verified and documented in Phase 400, Task <br />404 prior to proceeding with applications under this task. <br /> Industry recognized templates will be used as the basis for the RFP and RFPP with inputs <br /> <br /> The existing GC/CM and/or DBB general requirements specifications will be used as <br />basis for developing specifications specific to the Project. <br /> Draft contract will be developed in concert with, and under the direction of the City Attorney's <br />office. Consultant assumes no legal responsibility for the content of the final contract issued <br />by the City to the selected GC/CM, but is providing a draft <br />consideration as a requested advisory service. <br /> Meetings will be held virtually. <br />City Responsibilities <br /> <br />history of audit findings, and City-specific processes and regulations. <br /> Precipitate in PRC presentation.
