WPCF Headworks Replacement Project Scope of Work <br />24 <br /> <br />Task 330 OneAtlas (Survey) <br />Objective: Provide surveying and mapping services for the replacement of the headworks structure <br />and bypass improvements. A summary of the survey activities are provided below. <br />Activities/Approach <br /> Establish survey control points <br /> Use 3D laser scanning, total stationing, and GPS to collect site data for an approximately 9- <br />acre area, including plots within the WPCF and on the west side of the Snohomish River <br />within the area of the proposed bypass improvements. <br /> Identify river ordinary high water mark or river edge delineation to inform project permitting. <br /> Map all surface features located within the defined survey bounds within the defined project <br />limits. <br /> Locate surface-observable utilities and measure downs for drainage structures. <br /> Coordinate underground utility locate and survey underground features for inclusion in the <br />basemap. <br /> Reference City GIS data as needed for right-of-way and parcel boundaries. <br /> Complete post processing of field collected data for development of basemap. <br />Task Assumptions <br /> Project horizontal datum shall be the Washington State Plane Coordinate System of 1983. <br /> Project vertical datum shall be North American Vertical Datum of 1988. <br /> No detailed laser scanning and Revit modeling of the existing headworks is required. <br />City Responsibilities <br /> Coordinate access to the WPCF site to complete surveying activities. <br />Meetings <br /> As needed coordination meetings with BC and City. <br />Deliverables <br /> <br /> XML terrain model <br /> A finalized PDF of the mapped area signed by a professional surveyor licensed in the State of <br />Washington <br /> Field book notes <br /> ASCII file of topographic and control points <br />Task 335 Utility Locate <br />Objective: Provide utility locating in support of surveying and mapping services. The utility locate will <br />be coordinated by OneAtlas in alignment with the surveying field work. <br />Task 340 KBA, Inc. <br />Objective: KBA will conduct constructability reviews to identify potential design and construction <br />challenges early in the project life cycle. This work includes supporting the project delivery evaluation <br />and providing constructability input on key technical documents, including the Alternatives Analysis <br />Report, Geotechnical Reports, BODR, and preliminary design.
