City of Everett 01 11 00 - 4 <br />Port Gardner Storage Facility – Facility Construction Package WO# UP-3525 <br /> <br />01 11 00 - 4 SUMMARY OF WORK <br />Category 2: Sensitive information <br />Category 2: For official use only / disclosure permissible by law. <br />4) Instrumentation and Controls <br />a) Installation of level, flow, pressure, and analytical measurement <br />devices throughout the debris removal area. <br />b) Installation and integration of the following Area 20 <br />instrument/equipment types into the site control system. <br />1. Radar level <br />2. Pressure <br />3. Analytical <br />4. Flow indicating level <br />5. Gate actuators <br />c) Integration of vendor supplied instruments and controls for <br />screens, conveyor, and odor control system into the site control <br />system. <br />d) Fabrication, programming, testing, and installation of custom <br />control panels, including Remote Input/Output (RIO) panel and <br />Operator Interface Terminal (OIT). <br />5) Architectural <br />a) Installation of architectural features including doors, <br />downspouts, and hatches. <br /> <br />5. Area 25 Influent Building <br />a. Area 25 work includes structural, architectural, mechanical, electrical, <br />instrumentation and control, and building mechanical improvements. <br />1) Structural <br />a) Removal of temporary roof enclosures at the former location of <br />the two lime silos. Installation of permanent enclosures within <br />the two openings. <br />b) General structural improvements including wall penetration infill, <br />hatch installation, and metal panel wall installation. <br />2) Architectural <br />a) New doors and hardware. <br />b) General improvements to building façade. <br />c) New windows along the western face of the structure. <br />d) Rehabilitation of the existing roof drain system <br />3) Mechanical <br />a) Replacement of existing sump pumps. <br />b) Rehabilitation of existing 18-inch and 36-inch diameter <br />fiberglass pipe. <br />4) Electrical <br />a) Routing power and establishing connections for building <br />mechanical equipment. <br />5) Instrumentation and Controls <br />a) Installation of level float switches for sump pumping and <br />integration into the site control system.
