City of Everett 01 11 00 - 18 <br />Port Gardner Storage Facility – Facility Construction Package WO# UP-3525 <br /> <br />01 11 00 - 18 SUMMARY OF WORK <br />Category 2: Sensitive information <br />Category 2: For official use only / disclosure permissible by law. <br />1.3 WORK HOURS <br />A. Contractor will be required to provide a project schedule that clearly defines <br />each phase of work and the work hours associated with each phase. <br />B. The Work site is available from 7:00 AM – 10:00 PM during the work week <br />(M-F) excluding City observed holidays unless otherwise approved by the <br />Owner’s Representative. Any additional or alternate work hours will require <br />advance approval and coordination with the Owner’s Representative. <br />1.4 WORK SEQUENCE <br />A. It is the Contractor’s responsibility to coordinate and plan the construction <br />activities to integrate each schedule constraint into performance of the overall <br />Work. Contractor shall refer to drawings for schedule constraints. <br />B. Some of the existing facilities will eventually be abandoned under this <br />contract but must remain in service until certain components are completed <br />and operational. See Specification 01 12 16 for more information. <br />1.5 PERMITS <br />A. Except as noted in Paragraph 1.5.B, the Contractor shall be responsible for <br />obtaining and paying all fees associated with all the necessary permits, <br />licenses, approvals, and construction permits necessary for the execution of <br />this Contract, whether they be city, county, state, or federal permits. However, <br />Contractor may request a payment through the Force Account Bid Item to be <br />reimbursed for the permit fees. This reimbursement does not include any <br />other Contractor costs associated with obtaining and managing the permits. <br />The Contractor's costs for maintaining permits, filling out applications, etc. <br />shall be assumed under the Mobilization and Demobilization Bid Item. The <br />Contractor is to provide a copy of permits to Owner. The Contractor shall <br />comply with all conditions of each permit as if the conditions were detailed <br />herein. All of the permit types can be applied for online through the Online <br />Permitting Portal at: onlinepermits.everettwa.gov. <br />B. The Owner will be responsible for obtaining the following approvals and <br />permits (State Environmental Policy Act / SEPA, City of Everett Commercial <br />Building Permit) and will pay the fees associated with the application and <br />procurement of such approvals and permits. Copies of available permits are <br />available for review upon request.
