Identify this as a deviation during the submittal review process. <br />Q180 - Section 43 16 23 03 - 528 gal dipping tube tank -Section 2.04.C.2 – Process <br />connection should be 2” ANSI Class 150 flanged in lieu of 2” NPT for more reliable <br />sealing. <br />No exceptions taken to 2” ANSI Class 150 flanged connection in lieu of 2” NTP. <br />Identify this as a deviation during the submittal review process. <br />Q181 - Section 43 16 23 03 - 528 gal dipping tube tank -Section 3.02.C - Would it be <br />acceptable to perform owner training as a second day during the startup trip in lieu of a <br />second trip? <br />Startup and training will be coordinated with the Owner’s Representative during <br />construction. Identify this as a deviation during the submittal review process. <br />Q182 - Section 46 21 13 calls for the screens to be pickled with nitric or hydrofluoric <br />acid per ASTM A380. Please confirm if glass bead blasting is an acceptable form of <br />passivation per our standard in-lieu of chemical passivation. “All Stainless-Steel material <br />purchased will be provided to Headworks Inc. pickled and passivated at the mill. Our <br />offer is based on Headworks Inc. standard material finish where all stainless-steel <br />surfaces shall be glass Bead Blasted prior to equipment assembly. The Bead Blast shall <br />remove all weld discoloration and surface contaminants and provide for Spontaneous <br />Passivation as recognized in ASTM A380, Cleaning, Descaling, and Passivation of <br />Stainless-Steel Parts, Equipment, and Systems, 1. Scope, 1.1.1.1.” <br />No exceptions taken to glass bead blasting in lieu of chemical passivation. <br />Identify this as a deviation during the submittal review process. <br />Q183 - Please note that the hydraulic profile shown on drawing sheet G-00-4001 shows <br />a higher upstream water elevation than what is reference in Section 46 21 13. Please <br />specify which upstream water elevation shall take precedence. <br />Maximum water surface elevation is 33.47 feet as noted on Hydraulic Profile <br />Sheet G-00-4001 and in the table provided in 46 21 13 2.02.B.2. <br />Q184 - Are there any BABA or AIS requirements <br />This project does not include BABA or AIS requirements.
