Cultural and Educational Value <br />• Design opportunities for public art installations and educational spaces that highlight tribal <br />heritage and treaty rights across the landscape, and the city’s heritage of organized labor, <br />civil rights, and industrial accomplishments <br />• Seek opportunities to collaborate onsite with educational partners from local schools, non- <br />profit organizations, and workforce training programs <br />• Explore ways to create co-investment opportunities for cultural, educational, and <br />interpretive spaces <br /> <br />5. Community Benefits and Access <br />• Provide programming that is affordable and accessible for city and county residents <br />• Explore membership or discount programs and other perks for local residents <br />• Enhance the pedestrian and non-motorized connections between Everett Station and <br />Everett’s downtown core <br />• Encourage year-round programming at the facility <br />• Provide viewing opportunities to allow passersby to observe events <br />• Include a year-round anchor restaurant tenant available to the public; <br /> <br />6. Transportation and Parking Infrastructure <br />• Integrate the facility into the city’s comprehensive transportation planning with community <br />input <br />• Implement relevant recommendations from the city’s parking studies <br />• Construct all required transportation improvements that improve access to those walking, <br />rolling and driving to the facility as early as feasible <br />• Coordinate with the Angel of the Winds Arena programming to lessen parking impacts <br />• Implement transportation demand management programming to encourage attendees to <br />walk, bike, and ride transit to the event center <br /> <br />7. Labor and Workforce Standards <br />• Require the stadium and all major tenants (including concessionaires, vendors, etc.) to agree <br />to maintain a position of neutrality with respect to any organizing efforts by or for their <br />employees, and a commitment to non-interference and respect of the employees right to a
