Exhibit A (Scope of Work) <br />• Utilize a utility potholing service for those locations that will not be provided by a <br />franchise utility. This Scope of Services assumes up to 15 pothole locations. <br />Assumptions: <br />• Utility potholing will be provided by a utility locate service under this contract. <br />• The budget assigned for this work element will be limited to the amount <br />designated for this work element. <br />Deliverables: <br />• Utility information updated according to pothole results at the 60% and 90% <br />design phases <br />• Pothole location exhibits and results log <br />Utility Plans <br />Consultant will identify City owned utilities that require relocation within the project area <br />in order to construct the proposed roadway improvements. Consultant will prepare utility <br />plans, profiles, and details necessary to show existing and proposed utility locations of <br />City owned utilities. The Consultant will not be responsible for the design of franchise <br />utilities but will compile relocation plans from each utility owner and display approximate <br />locations of proposed utilities on the utility plans. <br />Assumptions: <br />• The relocation of telecommunication utilities/private utilities will be designed and <br />constructed by the respective utility owners. <br />• It is assumed that franchise utilities will be responsible for detailed design and <br />preparation of plans for their relocations, with construction occurring under a <br />separate contract(s). <br />Deliverables: <br />• Utility PS&E at 60%, 90%, 100% and Ad-ready design levels <br />
