Exhibit A (Scope of Work) <br />Task 8 – Signal, ITS, and Lighting Design <br />Consultant will provide traffic signal modification, intelligent transportation systems <br />(ITS), and lighting designs for the proposed roadway improvements. <br />Traffic Signal Modification <br />This task involves the traffic signal modification design at the following intersections <br />required by the 41st Street Rucker Freight Corridor improvements: <br />• Everett Avenue/SR 529 & Terminal Ave <br />• West Marine View Dr & Pacific Av <br />• Grand Ave & Pacific Dr <br />• Rucker Ave & 41st St <br />• 41st St & Colby Ave <br />• W Marine View Dr & California St <br />• Hewitt Ave & W Marine View Dr <br />• Wall St & West Marie View Dr <br />Based on the improvements at the project intersections it is anticipated that the traffic <br />signal modification will consist of the following: <br />Everett Avenue/SR 529 & Terminal Ave <br />• Remove existing traffic signal equipment on the SWC <br />• Install up to two (2) pedestal (or push button) poles on the SWC based on new <br />curb return, curb ramp, sidewalk, and retaining wall <br />• Install up to one (1) traffic signal pole on the SWC based on new curb return, <br />curb ramp, sidewalk, and retaining wall <br />• Modify/install existing pull boxes, conduit, and associated traffic signal equipment <br />West Marine View Dr & Pacific Ave <br />• Remove existing traffic signal equipment at the intersection <br />• Install a fully operational traffic signal and equipment including the items <br />referenced below based on the reconstructed intersection configuration <br />• Coordinate with utility for new electrical service <br />• Provide electrical drawings for new service and connection to traffic signal <br />cabinet <br />Grand Ave & Pacific Dr
