Exhibit A (Scope of Work) <br />Hewitt Ave & W Marine View Dr <br />• Remove existing pedestrian push buttons on all corners <br />• Install up to eight (8) Accessible Pedestrian Signal (APS) push buttons <br />• It is assumed that the APS upgrades will not require wiring diagrams or tables <br />and that improvements will be documented on the Traffic Signal Improvements <br />Intersection Plan sheet only. <br />Wall St & West Marine View Dr <br />• Remove existing pedestrian push buttons on all corners <br />• Install up to eight (8) Accessible Pedestrian Signal (APS) push buttons It is <br />assumed that the APS upgrades will not require wiring diagrams or tables and <br />that improvements will be documented on the Traffic Signal Improvements <br />Intersection Plan sheet only <br />The design of the traffic signal modification is anticipated to include the proposed <br />locations of traffic signal poles and mast arms, traffic signal heads, traffic signal signs, <br />pedestrian push buttons, vehicle detection equipment, emergency vehicle preemption <br />equipment, luminaires, conduit runs, and ground boxes. The traffic signal design will be <br />prepared in accordance with City and Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices (the <br />“MUTCD”) standards and requirements. <br />Traffic Signal Modification Design and Plans <br />Consultant will prepare traffic signal modification design at the project intersections per <br />City standards and requirements including the items and improvements previously <br />referenced. Traffic signal plans include planned signal phasing, location of new or <br />relocated signal poles including a dimensionally accurate foundation footprint, and <br />preliminary location of other above grade signal equipment required and turning <br />restrictions. The signal design will be coordinated with the civil design to ensure ADA <br />pathways can be maintained/provided with the signal improvements. <br />The traffic signal modification design is anticipated to be completed based on the <br />improvements referenced above and the traffic signal modification plans are anticipated <br />to consist of the following sheets: <br />• Signal Pole Foundation Details (up to one (1) sheet) <br />• Traffic Signal Improvements Detection Plan & Schematic (up to six (6) sheets) <br />• Traffic Signal Improvements Intersection Plan (up to six (6) sheets) <br />• Traffic Signal Improvements Miscellaneous (up to six (6) sheets) <br />• Traffic Signal Improvements Wiring Schematic (up to six (6) sheets) <br />• Traffic Signal Improvements Controller Cabinet Wiring Schematic & Layout (up to <br />six (6) sheets)
