<br />Lenora Regional SW Facility Division P – Proposal Nov. 2025 <br />Work Order # UP3792 SP - xlvi <br />Category 2: For official use only / disclosure permissible by law. <br />The cost also includes flushing and cleaning the lines, CCTV inspection (per Section 7-04.3), <br />identifying connections to the existing storm line, and providing the results and copies of the CCTV <br />footage to the Engineer prior to abandonment and construction of the new storm piping. <br />Costs associated with the abandonment of drainage structures and pipe not specifically described on <br />the Plans or listed within the specifications, but necessary to complete removal of existing and/or the <br />installation of new pipes and facilities shall be incidental to the project and no separate payment will be <br />made. <br /> Remove Ex. Fire Hydrant <br />Measurement and Payment: Each (EA) <br />Measurements shall meet the requirements of 1-09.1. This unit price bid item includes all costs <br />associated with removal, and disposal. <br />The work includes preparation of a plan for maintaining fire flow and protections. The Contractor shall <br />coordinate with the City of Everett and timing and time restrictions may apply for when the hydrant <br />may be taken out of service and the new hydrant installed. Costs associated with the removal and <br />disposal not specifically described on the Plans or listed within the specifications, but necessary to <br />complete removal of existing and/or the installation of new pipes shall be included and no separate <br />payment will be made. <br /> Controlled Density Fill <br />Measurement and Payment: Cubic Yard (CY) <br />Measurement shall be per cubic yard. Measurements shall meet the requirements of 1-09.1. This unit <br />price bid item includes all costs associated with furnishing and placing CDF were indicated on the Plans <br />and as detailed under Section 2-09.3(1). <br />Unless specifically called out on the plans or when directed by the Engineer, the use of Controlled <br />Density Fill (CDF) in place of normal backfill shall be considered a convenience to the Contractor, and <br />as such, the costs associated with CDF shall be incidental to the project. CDF necessary for <br />abandoning pipe in-place shall be paid for under its respective bid item and no separate payment will <br />be made. <br /> Utility Adjustment <br />Measurement and Payment: Force Account (FA ) <br />Measurements shall meet the requirements of 1-09.1. This unit price bid item includes all costs <br />associated with adjustment of existing utilities where authorized by the Engineer as necessary for <br />installation of the conveyance and storm infrastructure system as indicated on the Plans and as <br />described in 2-02 of the project special provisions. <br />The Contract bid item quantity listed for this item is to provide a common Proposal for Bidders. In <br />accordance with Section 1-04.6, no cost adjustments will be made for any variation in the bid item <br />quantities. <br />Abandonment and removal and adjustments of the existing storm infrastructure, including catch basins, <br />manholes, and pipes that are not specifically addressed by separate bid items, where required shall be <br />considered incidental to the Project and no separate payment will be made.
