<br />Measurements shall meet the requirements of 1-09.1. The unit cost shall include the labor and
<br />materials necessary to perform the work as specified and as on the plans, including ( but not limited
<br />to) coordination with the City and scheduling prior to taking the service offline. Coordinating with City
<br />Utilities Department for taps into the main, furnishing and installing the service lines, trenching and
<br />backfill, preparation and submittal of shop drawings, water service lines, and appurtenances, all
<br />fittings, connectors, restrained joints, elbows, T’s, wyes, valve boxes, operators and extensions,
<br />supports, excavation, bedding, and pressure testing and chlorination.

<br />Measurement and Payment: Lump Sum (LS)
<br />Measurements shall meet the requirements of 1-09.1. The unit cost shall include the labor and
<br />materials necessary to perform the work as specified and as on the plans, including ( but not limited
<br />to) coordination for service tap installation by City forces, installing the service lines, trenching and
<br />backfill, preparation and submittal of shop drawings, water service lines, DCVA and appurtenances, all
<br />fittings, restrained joints, elbows, T’s, wyes, valve boxes, operators and extensions, meters, meter
<br />boxes, supports, excavation, bedding, and pressure testing and chlorination.

<br />Measurement and Payment: Cubic Yard (CY)
<br />Measurements shall meet the requirements of 1-09.1. The unit cost shall include the labor and materials
<br />necessary to perform the work as specified and shall also include backfill, import material from a borrow
<br />site, dewatering, bedding, compaction, haul, and disposal of excess or unsuitable material or both. This
<br />does not apply to extension or reconnection of existing water services.

<br />Measurement and Payment: Each (EA)
<br />Measurement shall meet the requirements of 1-09.1. The unit cost shall be full compensation for
<br />furnishing all tools, equipment, labor and materials necessary to perform the work as specified.
<br />Payment shall also include furnishing, installing, testing, and verifying the GNA flow control device
<br />(hydroslide) as detailed on the plans and specifications. The cost includes all connecting lines,
<br />associated supports, seals, fittings, gate adjustment stem and all appurtenances required for a
<br />complete and operable system.
<br /> Weirs and Baffles - Flow Split Vault
<br />Measurement and Payment: Lump Sum (LS)
<br />Measurement shall meet the requirements of 1-09.1. The unit cost shall be full compensation for
<br />furnishing all tools, equipment, labor and materials necessary to install the adjustable weirs and
<br />baffles including fittings, lifting rings and guides and appurtenances required to perform the work as
<br />specified. Payment shall also include furnishing, installing, testing, and verifying the weir elevations
<br />as detailed on the plans and specifications.
