February 11, 2026 <br /> <br />2 <br /> <br />APPROVAL OF MINUTES <br /> <br />The minutes of the February 4, 2026, meeting were approved. <br /> <br /> <br />PUBLIC COMMENT <br /> <br />The following members of the public spoke: William Parent. <br /> <br /> <br />COUNCIL <br /> <br />Council Member Zarlingo reported on his attendance at the Snohomish County Steering <br />Committee and the Snohomish County Tomorrow Exploratory Committee meetings. <br /> <br />Council Member Weir reported on her attendance at the Riverside Neighborhood Association <br />and the Downtown Everett Association organization meetings. She also provided the schedule <br />for local neighborhood association meetings and thanked the public for voting in the special <br />election for Everett schools. <br /> <br />Council Member Rhyne reported on her attendance at the Parks and Built Environment <br />Committee meeting and reminded the public that the first District town hall will be on February <br />24th in District 2 at the Cascade Boys and Girls Club. <br /> <br />President Schwab reported on his attendance on legislative hearings and provided updates on <br />various legislative bills. <br /> <br /> <br />ADMINISTRATION UPDATE <br /> <br />Government Affairs Director Jennifer Gregerson provided an update on the Wendt Awards and <br />provided legislative updates. <br /> <br /> <br />CITY ATTORNEY <br /> <br />City Attorney David Hall requested a 10-minute executive session, pursuant to RCW <br />42.31.110(1)(i), with Council action to follow. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />
