<br /> destroy the property of another, or who shall tear down, destroy, or
<br /> mutilate any notice or hand bill lawfully posted up in said city.
<br /> Seventeenth: LEWDNESS: Any person in said city who shall
<br /> lewdly and viciously cohabit with another, not the husband or wife
<br /> of such person, and any person who shall be guilty of open or gross
<br /> lewdness , or who shall make any open and indecent or obscene exposure
<br /> of his or her person, or the person of another.
<br /> Section 2: DISORDERLY HOUSES: It shall be unlawful for
<br /> any person to open, conduct, keep or maintain any bawdy house, house
<br /> of ill fame, or any place resorted to for the purpose of prostitution
<br /> or lewdness; or to suffer or permit in any building or place owned
<br /> by him, or under his control, any riotous or disorderly conduct, or
<br /> drunkenness, or fighting, to the annoyance of the public.
<br /> Section 3: MALE PROSTITUTES: It shall be unlawful for any
<br /> male person in said city, to live in whole or in part upon the earn-
<br /> ings of a common prostitute, or to procure persons of the opposite
<br /> sex to meet for the purpose of prostitution.
<br /> Section 4: TRADUCING ANOTHER: It shall be unlawful for
<br /> any person to traduce or threaten to traduce another, or use any
<br /> language , or indulge in any conduct toward another person, tending
<br /> to produce a disturbance of the peace , or to challenge another person
<br /> to fight.
<br /> Section 5: CONDUCTING GAMBLING: It shall be unlawful for
<br /> any person to open, conduct, carry on or operate , whether as owner,
<br /> manager, agent, dealer, clerk or employee, and whether for hire or
<br /> not, any gambling game or game of chance, played with cards , dice,
<br /> or any other device, or any scheme or device whereby any money or
<br /> property or any representative of either, may be bet, waged or haz-
<br /> arded upon any chance, or any uncertain or contingent event, and it
<br /> shall be unlawful for any person to bet, wager, or hazard any money
<br /> or property, or any representative of either, upon any game , scheme,
<br /> or device opened, conducted, carried on, or operated in violation of
<br /> this section.
