1 , <br /> s � <br /> unwholesome fruit or vegetables, or any other unwholesome food what.* <br /> ever. <br /> Section 14: No meat, fish, oysters, birds , fowls, fruits, <br /> vegetables , milk or other provisions of any kind not being in a <br /> healthy, sound and wholesome condition, and no part of any animal or <br /> fish that dies by accident or from disease, shall be brought into <br /> the city of Averett for the purpose of sale or gift as human food; <br /> nor shall the same be offered for sale by any person at or in any <br /> public or private market, store, stall, warehouse, cold storage or <br /> other place of business. <br /> Section 15: No person shall keep live chickens, ducks, <br /> turkeys or other fowls in any cellar or basement underneath any <br /> grocery store, market or other place where uncanned food stuffs are <br /> kept, or in any room where such food stuffs are kept, prepared, <br /> offered for sale or sold. <br /> Section 16: Avery slaughter-house or other place where <br /> fowls are killed or prepared for sale or storage, shall be construct- <br /> ed with a wood or cement floor with proper trap sewer connection <br /> with a sewer or cess-pool; and such cess-pool shall be of proper <br /> construction, walled up, arched over and properly venitlated; and <br /> immediately after each killing of such fowls the floor shall be <br /> washed thoroughly, and the place shall at all times be kept in a <br /> clean and wholesome condition. <br /> Section 17: Avery person owning or managing any store, <br /> shop or commission house where meats, fish, fowls, fruits or vegetabl- <br /> es are kept or offered for sale or sold, and every person owning <br /> or managing any hotel, restuarant or boarding-house, is required to <br /> provide metallic receptacles with close-fitting covers, sufficient <br /> for the disposition of all garbage from their premises; and no person <br /> shall remove any such garbage from such receptacles after it has <br /> been deposited therein, except for the purpose of transporting the <br />
