PGSF WMVD Storm and Combined Sewer - Construction Package 2 Grouting <br />Project No. 180162 03 60 00 - 4 <br /> <br />C. Non-shrink grout shall conform to CRD-C 621 and ASTM C1107, Grade B or C when <br />tested at a maximum fluid consistency of 30 seconds per ASTM C939 at temperature <br />extremes of 45 degrees Fahrenheit and 90 degrees Fahrenheit and an extended working <br />time of 15 minutes. <br />D. Fluid grout shall pass through the flow cone, with continuous flow, one hour after mixing. <br />2.02 EPOXY GROUT FOR EQUIPMENT MOUNTING: <br />A. Epoxy grout shall be a pourable, non-shrink, 100-percent solids system. <br />B. Epoxy grout for equipment mounting shall be a non-cementitious, resin based, multi- <br />component formulation. Epoxy grout shall be flowable, with shrinkage minimized to <br />achieve minimum 98% effective bearing area. Epoxy grout shall be: <br />1. BASF, Masterflow 648 <br />2. Euclid Chemical Company, E3-G <br />3. Sika Corporation, Sikadur 42 <br />4. Approved Equal. <br />C. The following properties shall be attained with the minimum quantity of aggregate <br />allowed by epoxy grout manufacturer. <br />1. Length change after hardening shall be less than 0.0006-inch per inch and <br />coefficient of thermal expansion shall be less than 0.00003-inch per inch per degree <br />F when tested in accordance with ASTM C531. <br />2. Compressive creep at one year shall be less than 0.001-inch per inch when tested <br />under a 400-psi constant load at 140 degrees F in accordance with ASTM C1181. <br />3. Minimum seven-day compressive strength shall be 14,000 psi when tested in <br />accordance with ASTM C579 <br />4. Grout shall be capable of maintaining at least a flowable consistency for minimum of <br />30 minutes at 70 degrees F. <br />5. Shear bond strength to portland cement concrete shall be greater than shear <br />strength of concrete when tested in accordance with ASTM C882/C882M. <br />2.03 ADHESIVE FOR GROUTING REINFORCING BAR DOWELS <br />A. Adhesive for setting dowels in concrete shall be an injectable two-component epoxy <br />adhesive. Adhesive shall be approved for the intended use per the product ICC Report. <br />Adhesive shall be: <br />1. Hilti, HIT-RE 500v3 <br />2. Simpson Strong Tie, SET XP <br />3. Approved Equal (equivalent product must have ICC approval for use in cracked <br />concrete in areas with high seismic risk). <br />2.04 CONCRETE REPAIR MORTAR <br />A. Horizontal Applications: Repair mortars shall be: <br />1. BASF, MasterEmaco S 466CI
