Procedures: Section 01 33 00, Submittal Procedures. <br />B. Action Submittals <br />1. Contractor’s Responsible person. <br />2. Submit potholing plan with methods to be provided, name and contact information if <br />third party subcontractors are performing the Work. <br />3. Submit Schedule for potholing to be completed for the pipeline corridor. <br />C. Construction Submittals <br />1. Submit summarized utility data including but not limited to: <br />a. Surveyed location including Northings and Eastings in the project coordinate <br />system, invert elevation, diameter, material, and location of appurtenances, <br />fittings, and connections where exposed either by potholing or exposed within the <br />excavation. Survey data shall include survey shots on any utility relocated and <br />each utility exposed in the pipe trench (one top of utility survey point on utility at <br />each side of the trench). See Section 01 32 23 SURVEY AND LAYOUT DATA. <br />b. Asphalt thickness where applicable. <br />D. Informational Submittals <br />1. Submit record copies of all permits acquired for Utility work. <br />1.05 IDENTIFICATION OF UTILITIES AND INVESTIGATIONS <br />A. Provide 811 (Call Before You Dig) prior to any excavation. <br />B. Obtain required permits and permissions prior to subsurface investigations and <br />excavation from the agency with authority over the ROW and the utility Owner. <br />C. Surface restoration, backfill and temporary surface restoration shall be in accordance <br />with the agency requirements. <br />D. Take all actions required to verify the existence, location, size, material, and condition of <br />utilities. If the Contractor’s investigations identify utilities not shown or not located as <br />shown, notify the Construction Manager immediately. <br />E. Document locating and exposing each utility; Provide survey information (N, E, Z), <br />material and service for each utility located and record the location on the Record <br />Drawings.
