<br />PGSF WMVD Storm and Combined Sewer - Construction Package 2 Existing Utilities Coordination and Location <br />Project No. 180162 02 01 10 - 5 <br /> <br />C. Utility Conflicts <br />1. If a utility conflict is identified that cannot be resolved by supporting the utility in <br />place, the Contractor shall prepare with utility owner and Construction Manager a <br />utility relocation plan. The relocations plan shall be submitted and accepted by the <br />Utility Owner and meet current utility requirements. Submit Utility relocation plans, <br />acceptance, and correspondence. <br />D. Shutdown/Service Disruptions <br />1. A request for shutdown shall be required whenever connections are made to any <br />utility line, including electric power and communication lines, gas, water, and sanitary <br />sewers or storm sewers. Connections to any utility without an approved request will <br />make the contractor liable to the owner for correction of any deficiencies and/or <br />resulting impacts, including (but not limited to) health, safety, and financial burden. <br />The Contractor shall request permission with the required notification period prior to <br />the day planned for any utility shutdown. All utility shut downs are subject to approval <br />by the Owner. <br />END OF SECTION
