<br />PGSF WMVD Storm and Combined Sewer - Construction Package 2 Protecting Existing Utilities <br />Project No. 180162 02 01 20 - 6 <br /> <br />C. If the Contractor discovers utility facilities not identified in the Contract Documents or in a <br />position different from that shown in the Contract Drawings, immediately notify in writing <br />the Engineer. <br />D. When it is necessary to remove, relocate, protect, or temporarily maintain a service <br />connection, the Contractor shall bear all expenses incidental to the Work on the utility or <br />damage thereto. The work on the service connection shall be done in a manner <br />satisfactory to the utility owner; it being understood that the owner of the utility has the <br />option of doing such work with his own forces or permitting the work to be done by the <br />Contractor. <br />E. Report, and record all required repairs due to construction activity, damage, and or <br />removal to the Engineer and on record documents. <br />F. Testing shall be conducted in accordance with the Utility Owner’s requirements. <br />Substantial Completion will not be issued, and the project will not be considered <br />complete until all construction created damages have been repaired and the system <br />associated with these construction repairs are considered functional by the Utility <br />Owner(s) and Engineer. <br />END OF SECTION
