Notify the Engineer immediately upon encountering previously unknown USTs. <br />PART 2 NOT USED <br />PART 3 EXECUTION <br />3.01 UST CLEANING <br />A. USTs shall be cleaned prior to removal. Tank(s) cleaning operations shall be in <br />accordance with API Publications 2015, “Cleaning Petroleum Storage Tank(s)”. The <br />tank(s) shall be cleaned by removing liquid and sludge and then rinsing them three <br />times. <br />B. The Contractor shall be responsible for the transport to, and disposal of UST contents at <br />a permitted waste oil recycling facility. The Contractor shall provide documentation to the <br />Engineer within 14 days of disposal stating the name and address of the facility where <br />the contents were disposed. The documentation shall also indicate date and volume of <br />material received, and any analytical results of tank contents required by the receiving <br />facility.
