References listed below indicate those documents in effect at the time of Advertisement <br />for Bids, Invitation to Bid, or on the effective date of the Agreement if there were no Bids. <br />Where documents are referenced in applicable local, state, or federal codes, use the <br />version referenced by date in the individual code. If referenced documents are not <br />specifically identified in the applicable code(s), reference to those documents shall <br />indicate the latest version of the documents available at the time of Advertisement for <br />Bids, Invitation to Bid, or the effective date of the Agreement if there were no Bids. ACI–563 – Repair of Concrete in Buildings. <br />1.05 PRECONSTRUCTION MEETING <br />A. Contractor to organize and conduct a preconstruction meeting, at Project site prior to <br />start of work related to this Section. Include representatives from Contractor, <br />Subcontractor, repair product representatives, Coating manufacturer’s representative, <br />Engineer, and Owner. <br />B. Review methods and procedures related to concrete repairs and protective coating <br />including, but not limited to, the following: <br />1. Verify Contractor’s personnel, equipment, and facilities needed to perform Work and <br />avoid delays. <br />2. Materials, surface preparation, material application, environmental conditions, <br />curing, sequencing, tolerances, and required clearances. <br />3. Coordination of Work, including schedule to include provisions for mockup of surface <br />preparation, repair mortar, finish coatings, and testing. <br />4. Quality-Control program, including required notifications and scheduling of <br />inspections by Contractor, product manufacturers, Engineer, and Owner’s testing <br />agency. <br />1.06 ACTION SUBMITTALS <br />A. Concrete Repair Schedule. <br />1. Include proposed dates for bypass pumping, draining of structures, cleaning, <br />inspection, and completion of Work. <br />B. Concrete Repair Plan <br />1. Include quantities for each type of repair material based on field inspection. <br />C. Product Data: <br />1. Include product data for each product to be used, based on recommendations of <br />product manufacturers.
