City of Everett 01 32 16 - 1 <br />PGSF WMVD Storm and Combined Sewer - Construction Package 2 WO# UP-3815-02 <br />01 32 16 - 1 CONSTRUCTION PROGRESS SCHEDULES AND REPORTS <br />SECTION 01 32 16 <br />CONSTRUCTION PROGRESS SCHEDULES AND REPORTS <br />PART 1 - GENERAL <br />1.1 SUMMARY <br />A. This Section specifies requirements and procedures for preparing project schedules and <br />reports. <br />B. Incorporate milestones and constraints including, but not limited to, those indicated on <br />the Drawings and in Specification Section 01 11 00 Summary of Work and Section 01 12 <br />16 Work Sequence. <br />C. Purpose: <br />1. Project Schedule: <br />a. To assure planning to execute the work in the required Contract Time and <br />avoid conflicts with other concurrent construction. <br />b. To establish and monitor the scheduling and progress of Contract work <br />activities. <br />c. To assist the City’s Construction Manager in monitoring progress and for the <br />assessment of Contract change impacts. <br />d. To assist the City’s Construction Manager and Contractor in determining the <br />completed work for processing of the Application for Payment. <br />2. Schedule of Values: To provide an allocation of the Contract Price for measurement <br />of monthly progress and payment. <br />3. Reports: To provide a qualitative and quantitative record of work progress, planned <br />progress, project schedule changes, and monthly progress payment. <br />D. Use the scheduling technique known as the Critical Path Method (CPM). Use the <br />Precedence Diagramming Method (PDM) in preparing the CPM diagrams and <br />calculations. <br />E. Failure to comply with the requirements of this Section will be cause for delay in review <br />and acceptance of the Application for Payment. See Specification Section 00 72 00 <br />General Conditions. <br />F. Failure to properly schedule the project and provide the required reports as set forth in <br />this Section will adversely impact the ability of the City’s Construction Manager to <br />manage its responsibility regarding time and cost management. <br />G.
