City of Everett 00 22 13 - 2 <br />PGSF WMVD Storm and Combined Sewer - Construction Package 2 WO# UP-3815-02 <br />00 22 13 - 2 SUPPLEMENTAL INSTRUCTIONS TO BIDDERS <br />requirement, then the Bidder is committed to using Bidder’s listed <br />subcontractor for Project trenchless pipeline installation(s) and <br />may not change subcontractors without the consent of the City, <br />which may be withheld at the City’s sole discretion. <br />(3) Three projects involving excavations reaching a depth of at least 20 feet, <br />the installation of trench support systems, ground water pumping, and the <br />handling and disposal of groundwater. These excavations may have been <br />by Bidder’s own forces or by subcontractor(s). Three separate Bidder <br />projects must be used to satisfy this requirement. <br />b. The Bidder’s project manager for the Project must have successfully <br />supervised to completion at minimum the following within ten (10) years prior <br />to bid opening: <br />(1) One project involving the construction of at least 1,000 continuous linear <br />feet of buried stormwater or municipal wastewater pipeline having a <br />minimum diameter of 30 inches and reaching a depth of at least 15 feet <br />for the invert elevation for portions of the pipeline. <br />(2) Two projects involving excavations reaching a depth of at least 20 feet, <br />the installation of trench support systems, ground water pumping, and the <br />handling and disposal of groundwater. Two separate projects must be <br />used to satisfy this requirement. <br />c. The Bidder’s superintendent for the Project must have successfully <br />supervised to completion at minimum the following within ten (10) years prior <br />to bid opening: <br />(1) One project involving the construction of at least 1,000 continuous linear <br />feet of buried stormwater or municipal wastewater pipeline having a <br />minimum diameter of 30 inches and reaching a depth of at least 15 feet <br />for the invert elevation for portions of the pipeline. <br />(2) Two projects involving excavations reaching a depth of at least 20 feet, <br />the installation of trench support systems, ground water pumping, and the <br />handling and disposal of groundwater. Two separate projects must be <br />used to satisfy this requirement. <br />3. Documentation: The Bidder shall submit the Bidder Qualification Statement as <br />provided in Section 00 45 13. The City may also use independent sources of <br />information that may be available to demonstrate whether the Bidder is in <br />compliance with these criteria. <br />4. Evaluation: In evaluating whether these criteria are met, the City may check <br />references for the previous projects and may evaluate the project owner’s <br />assessment of the Bidder’s performance, including but not limited to the following <br />areas: <br />a. Quality control; <br />b. Safety record; <br />c. Timeliness of performance; <br />d. Use of skilled personnel;
