2026 Pavement Maintenance Overlay Special Provisions <br />PW# 3860 SP - 76 March 10, 2026 <br /> <br />*** 1 <br />“HMA Class ½” PG 64-22”, per ton. 2 <br /> 3 <br />The unit contract price per ton for “HMA Class ½” PG 64-22”, shall be full compensation 4 <br />for all costs, including anti-stripping additive, incurred to carry out the requirements of 5 <br />Section 5-04 except for those costs included in other items which are included in the sub-6 <br />section and which are included in the proposal. 7 <br /> 8 <br />HMA for Pre-leveling, if required by the Engineer, will be paid for under bid item, “HMA 9 <br />Class ½” PG 64-22”, per ton. 10 <br /> 11 <br />All costs for “Asphalt Tack Coat”, “Anti Stripping Additive”, “Compaction Adjustment” and 12 <br />“Joint Sealing Transverse Joints in Paving” shall be included in the unit contract price per 13 <br />ton for “HMA Class ½” PG 64-22”, per ton. 14 <br />*** 15 <br /> 16 <br />“Pavement Repair Excavation Incl. Haul”, per square yard. 17 <br />The unit Contract price per square yard for “Pavement Repair Excavation Incl. Haul” 18 <br />shall be full payment for all costs incurred to perform the Work described in Section 19 <br />5-04.3(4) with the exception, however, that all costs involved in the placement of 20 <br />HMA shall be included in the unit Contract price per ton for “HMA for Pavement 21 <br />Repair Cl. ___ PG ___”, per ton. 22 <br /> 23 <br />“Planing Bituminous Pavement ***(2” Deep)***”, per square yard. 24 <br />The unit Contract price per square yard for “Planing Bituminous Pavement” shall be 25 <br />full payment for all costs incurred to perform the Work described in Section 5-26 <br />04.3(14). 27 <br /> 28 <br />“Job Mix Compliance Price Adjustment”, by calculation. 29 <br />“Job Mix Compliance Price Adjustment” will be calculated and paid for as described 30 <br />in Section 5-04.3(9)C6. 31 <br /> 32 <br />“Compaction Price Adjustment”, by calculation. 33 <br />“Compaction Price Adjustment” will be calculated and paid for as described in 34 <br />Section 5-04.3(10)D3. 35 <br /> 36 <br />“Roadway Core”, per each. 37 <br />The Contractor’s costs for all Work associated with the coring (e.g., traffic control) 38 <br />shall be incidental and included in the unit Bid price per each. 39 <br /> 40 <br />“Cyclic Density Price Adjustment”, by calculation. 41 <br />“Cyclic Density Price Adjustment” will be calculated and paid for as described in 42 <br />Section 5-04.3(10)B. 43 <br /> 44 <br />END DIVISION5.RTF 45 <br /> 46 <br /> 47 <br />END DIVISION 5 48 <br /> 49
