The adjustment of the <br />21 valve box to grade by the use of riser rings is not allowed. <br />22 <br />23 Removal operations shall be conducted to prevent damage to the valve boxes. Any <br />24 parts or materials damaged due to the Contractor’s operations shall be replaced at <br />25 the Contractors expense. <br />26 <br />27 The Contractor shall conduct the valve box adjustments so that the fully-adjusted box <br />28 allows the respective valve to be fully operational.
