The PS&E effort <br />will focus on finalizing and packaging the Final (~90%) Design documents into a complete, bid- <br />ready contract package. <br />PS&E Development <br />PS&E activities are anticipated to include: <br />·Finalization of plan sheets developed under the Final (~90%) Design phase, incorporating <br />final City and College review comments. <br />·Preparation of a complete, coordinated, and bid-ready plan set. No new plan sheets are <br />anticipated to be generated between the ~90% design submittal and PS&E. <br />·Final QA/QC review of plans, specifications, quantities, and contract documents to confirm <br />consistency and completeness. <br />Specifications and Contract Documents <br />Kimley-Horn will prepare final project specifications and special provisions, coordinated with the <br />final design and consistent with WSDOT, APWA, and City of Everett Standard Specifications. <br />Contract documents will be finalized to support competitive bidding and advertisement. <br />Engineer’s Estimate and Advertisement Support <br />Kimley-Horn will prepare a final engineer’s estimate based on the PS&E documents and <br />anticipated construction year. <br />Assumptions: <br />l PS&E revisions will be limited to addressing final City and College comments and <br />preparing bid-ready documents. <br />Deliverables: <br />l PS&E Plan Set – Electronic (PDF) <br />l PS&E Construction Cost Estimate – Electronic (PDF) <br />l PS&E Project Specification Package – Electronic (PDF) <br />l Final Contractual Bid Package – Electronic (PDF) <br />l Response to Final Comments – Electronic (PDF and Excel) <br />Task 2.08: Bid Support <br />Kimley-Horn will provide bid support services during the advertisement period to assist the City <br />with responding to bidder inquiries and preparing addenda based on the PS&E documents. <br />Bid Support Activities <br />Bid support services are anticipated to include: <br />·Attending the prebid meeting, either virtually or in person, as requested by the City. <br />·Responding to bidder questions and requests for clarification related to the PS&E <br />documents. <br />·Preparing responses and supporting materials for up to three (3) addenda, as required <br />during the advertisement period.
