Endorse for approval or disapproval all materials and equipment submitted by the Contractor. <br />C. Conduct surveillance of construction to include periodic visits to the site to observe the progress and <br />quality of the work. It is expected that the Contractor will coordinate their work with the budgeted <br />Construction Phase Inspections identified by DA Hogan. <br />D. Monitor construction progress and quality with decisions relative to contract performance <br />E. Issue instructions for and of the Owner to the Contractor and respond to requests for information, <br />field directives and changes orders, if applicable. <br />F. Guard the Owner against deficiencies in the work and approve or disapprove work in conformance <br />with the contract documents. <br />G. Keep the Owner advised as to the progress of the work. <br />H. Assure for the Owner that the completed project will conform to the requirements of the contract <br />documents. <br />I. Substantial completion inspection with distribution of discrepancy (punch list) items. <br />J. Review of contract progress payment requests for the work. <br />K. Final inspection and certification of completion. <br /> <br />1.5 PHASE V ‐ CONTRACT CLOSE OUT PHASE <br /> <br />A. Receive and Review Contractor Markup / As‐Built Documents. <br />B. Process Markup into Archival Media / AutoCADD and PDF deliverables. <br />C. Process Contractor/vendor operating and maintenance manuals as required. <br /> <br />1.6 WORK NOT INCLUDED <br /> <br />A. Full‐time, on‐site inspection <br />B. Site survey and construction control bench marks <br />C. Traffic Studies <br />D. Wetland or other Sensitive or Critical Areas investigation <br />E. Exploration and excavations for verification of existing conditions and utilities. <br />F. Cost of printing of review, permit application, bidding, distribution costs and construction record <br />documents. <br />G. Laboratory charges for construction testing. <br /> <br />1.7 GC/LEAD DESIGNERS RESPONSIBILITIES <br /> <br />A. Assist the Engineer by placing at his disposal all available information pertinent to the site. <br />B. Provide digital site topographic survey, including boundary survey if required as a condition of any <br />necessary permit. <br />C. Provide adequate Geotechnical Exploration and Engineering Recommendations. <br />D. Assumption of Financial Responsibility for all Permit Fees levied by affected agencies. <br /> <br />1.8 CONSTRUCTION BUDGET <br /> <br />A.
