May 13, 2026 <br /> <br />2 <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />Council Member Weir commented on the reopening of Wiggums Hollow Park. <br /> <br />Council Member Zarlingo commented on his attendance at Snohomish County Tomorrow <br />Exploratory Committee meeting. <br /> <br />Council Member Rhyne commented on vacant storefronts as recommended by public <br />commenters and her attendance at the following: the Parks and Built Environment Committee <br />meeting, Local Initiatives Support Corporation Roundtable, the Port Gardner Neighborhood <br />meeting, Everett Farmer’s Market, a tour of Cedar Grove, and the Sound Transit Board meeting. <br /> <br />Council Member Burbano commented on the Walter E. Hall playground improvements and <br />stated the District 4 Town Hall will be held May 16. <br /> <br />Council Member Bader commented on his attendance at the Riverside Neighborhood meeting. <br /> <br /> <br />ADMINISTRATION UPDATE <br /> <br />Government Affairs Director Jennifer Gregerson provided updates on the Charter Review <br />Committee. She also commented on the items on the agenda relating to Clark Park, provided an <br />update on the gazebo, and provided an overview of the FIFA World Cup Grant on the consent <br />agenda. <br /> <br /> <br />CITY ATTORNEY <br /> <br />City Attorney David Hall commented on Clark Park and requested a 10-minute executive session <br />pursuant to RCW 42.30.110(1)(i) with anticipated Council action to follow. <br /> <br /> <br />CONSENT ITEMS: <br /> <br />Moved by Council Member Rhyne, seconded by Council Member Bader, to approve the <br />following consent items: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION - CLAIMS <br /> <br />To adopt Resolution No. 8302 authorizing claims against the City of Everett in the amount of <br />$2,578,775.59 for the period of April 25, 2026, through May 1, 2026. <br />
